Exercise of the Week 07 – Straight Line Change of Direction
At SuperMovers we incorporate this exercise into sessions to help players become faster out of corners on-court. It is a really great way of getting players to focus on the optimal way to put the brakes on, change direction and re-accelerate
In match play it is a useful tool in a player’s armoury, allowing them to better cope with an opponent who is moving them from side to side.
To make it more specific you can add a ball for them to catch or add a shadow swing.
