Exercise of the Week 06 - Square Drill
Key to effective movement on-court is a combination of visual perception and change of direction skills, which is where this week’s drill comes in! It helps players improve their acceleration, deceleration and change of direction.
In the video you can see how I introduce the exercise to a group of players for the first time and showing you the steps to build the drill step by step.
You can make the drill more competitive, firstly by getting players to race against each other to complete the drill, as well as adding a tough ball feed so players have to chase and catch it.
